• Jeroen Bolt hands over CSCMP Benelux President role

    1 July 2019 | Fluas
  • Six years after being invited by the US board to revitalize the Benelux Roundtable, Jeroen Bolt will handover the President role to Michel Stekelenburg. In his term, Jeroen has build a new board from the ground up and initiated a legal entity, the Stichting CSCMP Benelux. This has been a strong enabler to build a stable organization which has had numerous successes.

The Benelux Roundtable has set up many international supply chain events that reached thousands of professionals, with the 2018 European CSCMP Conference having attendees from over 15 countries coming over to the WTC Rotterdam as one of the major successes. This year, the CSCMP Benelux foundation has awarded a scholarship for the fifth year in a row for a Benelux supply chain student to the Future Leadership Program in the US. In 2018 the Benelux Roundtable has been globally recognized as the best-in-class international roundtable.

With the foundation being in good shape, handing over the President role will provide Jeroen more time to spend on his company Fluas and his start-up Epic Drive with the goal to reinvent the logistics industry with its patented electric drive solution.

Michel Stekelenburg is Vice-President Strategic Accounts at DiLX B.V (a Division of the Gateway Group). where he's responsible for supporting Global Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain organisations in their digital transformation journey. Michel has been a CSCMP Benelux Board Member for almost 2 years and is a strong believer in the global, end-to-end supply chain focus of the foundation. Michel’s focus for the upcoming 2-year board term is to innovate events and formats, improve the pan-European collaboration and further grow the branding and network of the CSCMP. And after some additional shifts in positions, the full new board will be announced on the CSCMP Benelux website shortly.
